BS 4598 rolled-edge band — smooth bore, high torque, no hose damage.
British type clamps use a rolled-edge, non-perforated band with a separate housing and a hex screw. The smooth inner face spreads load across the hose instead of biting into it, and the rolled edges stop the band cutting silicone or thin-wall rubber.
Commonly specified in the UK, Middle East and Commonwealth markets. Supplied zinc-plated or in 304 stainless, with BS 4598 dimensions held to drawing.
