British band with a colour-coded housing for line-side identification.
A British type clamp with a moulded housing — commonly blue — that identifies the connection at a glance on the line. It is used where several clamp sizes sit next to each other and fitting the wrong one is expensive.
The colour is moulded into the housing, not painted, so it survives wash-down and solvent. Other colours are available on request with a modest tooling charge.
