Seamless 304 band with a rolled-in housing for even, leak-free sealing.
The German type (DIN 3017 A) uses a seamless, cold-rolled band instead of a perforated strip. There are no through-slots for the screw to catch in, so the full width of the band presses on the hose and the clamp seals evenly around the circumference. That is why it is the default choice for coolant, fuel and air lines where a perforated band would cut into the hose or creep under pressure.
Bands are rolled from 304 or 201 strip in 9 mm and 12 mm widths, with thickness from 0.6 mm to 0.8 mm. Sizes run from 8 mm to 210 mm, and we roll to drawing when a standard diameter does not fit.
